*Results from a prospective and non-randomised interventional study where HArmonyCa™ was injected in the preauricular region of 15 women. The primary endpoint were the volumetric changes at Day 180. Secondary endpoints included changes in facial tension vectors, time to filler tissue integration and safety profile.⁷†Ultrasound and elastography examinations were performed using the Samsung HT 30 ultrasound machine and the ElastoScan HS30/XH30 respectively (Samsung Healthcare Global). At 180 days after treatment an increase in collagen in the treated areas was confirmed.⁷‡ Vectra® H2 (Canfield Scientific, Inc.) was used to assess skin lift and tightening by measuring the changes in facial tension vectors (FTV) at 60, 90, and 180 days after treatment. As compared to pre-treatment values, FTV significantly increased at all timepoints with a median (interquartile-range) increased by 2.2 (1.6– 2.2) mm and 2.0 (1.7–2.2) mm in the right and left side, respectively p < 0.0001 each, 180 days after treatment.⁷

Loss of volume and soft-tissue structural support are common forms of facial aging.^1-3 HArmonyCa™ is a dual effect hybrid injectable that can be injected into the deep layers of your skin.⁸ HArmonyCa™ contains calcium hydroxyapatite, which is known to help increase skin firmness and improve your skin’s overall appearance.^5,8 By combining hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite, HArmonyCa™ offers a comprehensive approach that addresses multiple mechanisms behind facial ageing. It is designed for patients/people experiencing a loss of elasticity and volume lost through ageing.‡^7,8

What sets HArmonyCa™ apart from other treatments?

Collagen restores volume in your skin²

As you age, thinning skin and loss of elasticity occur over time due to the gradual loss of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin.² There are different ways to increase your collagen levels, but while collagen creams and supplements need to be used daily to artificially add collagen to the skin,⁹ HArmonyCa™ is injected directly within the skin⁸ to encourage sustained production of collagen, as early as 1 week after treatment.*¹⁰

HArmonyCa™ may support the growth of new collagen fibres in the skin, resulting in improved density, elasticity and firmness.†^,‡^{, 7}

FAQ

: HArmonyCa™ has a low risk-benefit profile*¹¹

In a study evaluating the long-term safety of HArmonyCa™, there were no ongoing treatment related adverse events at the time of follow-up.*†¹¹ Common side effects include redness, swelling, pain, tenderness and itching.⁸ Treatment-site reactions may typically resolve within 24–48 hours and swelling within a week.⁸

*In a post-marketing clinical analysis of HArmonyCa™ (N=162), conducted in Israel, one unrelated serious side effect was reported and one side effect required medical intervention due to material migration into the lips and over correction.⁵†Time from treatment to last follow-up ranged from 1–4 to >24 months, with the majority between 12–24 months (65.4%). The long-term safety group included all 162 subjects. This follow-up considered long term side effects which still existed at the time of follow-up, serious side effects, and side effects which required special intervention.⁵

Before you undergo any treatment, your healthcare practitioner will fully appraise your history, treatment goals and the region you wish to be treated to create a bespoke treatment plan and ensure you receive your desired outcome.^8,13

HArmonyCa™ contains lidocaine to help make your treatment more comfortable. Your healthcare practitioner will assess your needs and, if necessary, apply the appropriate form of anaesthetic. They may also apply ice to the injection site to reduce swelling.⁸

Following treatment some of the side effects you may experience include redness, swelling and irritation.⁸Following your treatment you may see an immediate lift, and within one week, new collagen may start to form in the treated areas.*†^,10,14

When receiving facial injectable treatments, many people can achieve their desired outcome within one treatment, but this varies, and you may wish to receive follow up treatments to maximise your results.
